Jack Egan and his associate Cath Bowdler survived a bushfire which destroyed their dwelling in North Rosedale, NSW, Australia.

For Jack it was a life-changing day – one which prompted him to give up his job and dedicate himself to campaigning for harder motion on local weather change.
