The Trinamool Congress on Thursday alleged that TMC Mathabhanga candidate Girindra Nath Barman was brutally attacked by BJP “goons” in Cooch Behar district of North Bengal.
“He is likely one of the most revered personalities throughout the Rajbanshi neighborhood, for his work for the neighborhood. Such a horrible assault on him is extraordinarily shameful and solely exhibits BJP’s desperation realizing that they’re dropping the election in Bengal,” stated the TMC.
On Wednesday, the BJP’s West Bengal president Dilip Ghosh had alleged that Trinamool Congress employees attacked his automotive with bombs and bricks in Cooch Behar, a cost denied by the ruling get together.
