Taiwan protesters march towards US pork imports – #NewsEverything #Asia

Tens of 1000’s of protesters have marched in Taipei for Taiwan’s annual “Autumn Wrestle” demonstrations.

On the agenda have been schooling and freedom of speech, in addition to the federal government’s choice to ease a ban on imports of US pork with the additive ractopamine.

The additive is presently banned for pig use in Taiwan, in addition to in China and the European Union, on account of considerations about security for animals and people.
