SRINAGAR: Visitors on Panthachowk-Parimpora bypass needed to be stopped after safety forces discovered a suspicious object, believed to be an IED, by the roadside in Nowgam space of the town, police stated.
CRPF personnel, patrolling the Srinagar-Baramulla freeway, discovered the tin can mendacity by the roadside, a police official stated.
He stated the visitors alongside the arterial highway needed to be stopped and a bomb disposal squad summoned to test the tin can for any explosives.
