Thane: 4 individuals had been arrested for allegedly killing a person who objected to one in every of them urinating in public, Navi Mumbai police mentioned on Sunday.
On Friday, Sachin Patil (35) was discovered severely injured on the street and was declared lifeless by medical doctors after being rushed to a close-by hospital, a Rabale MIDC police station official mentioned.
“Our probe zeroed in on Akash Gaikwad (20) who had picked up a battle with Patil after the latter informed him to not urinate in public. The incident occurred in Sathe Nagar. Gaikwad and three of his pals later assaulted Patil and left him to die on the street,” he mentioned.
All 4 had been arrested whereas making an attempt to flee from Sathe Nagar, he mentioned, including that they’ve been charged with homicide and remanded in police custody until January 5.
