Police are investigating a spate of bizarre attacks which saw crooks stuff lamb chops inside an exhaust pipe of a car.
Officers were called to Credenhill in Hereford, Herefordshire, on April 2 at 9.35pm.
Their arrival came after reports that eggs and raw meat were thrown at a property in the area at the time.
Bizarrely, it emerged that offenders stuffed lamb chops inside the exhaust pipe of a vehicle, while raw chicken legs were left hanging from the wheel.
Food was also thrown at a property nearby.
West Mercia Police shared images of the incident as they appealed for information over social media on the incident.
A number of people commented on the post to express their disgust.
One wrote: “Not only making a mess for people, what a waste of good food, when so many people in the world are starving.”
Another added: “What a total waste of good food! I eat meat and never waste because I think of that poor animal that was sacrificed.”
Others saw the funny side of the incident in the comment section.
“Big police steak out to find the culprit”, one commented.
Another said: “Police now at the scene having a butchers about.”
