Earlier this week, the Gaza Strip obtained its first doses of the vaccine after Israel authorised the switch via its border. The cargo included 2,000 doses of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine which will likely be used on sufferers who’ve had organ transplants and people with kidney failure, an official advised Reuters news company.
