Off-spinner R Ashwin returned yet one more five-wicket haul as India bundled out England for 134 to take an enormous first innings lead of 195 on the second day of the second Check, in Chennai on Sunday.

India had resumed at in a single day rating of 300 for six and managed 329 on the MA Chidambaram Stadium, shedding the remaining 4 wickets in fast time.

Led by Ashwin (5/43) the Indian assault a a lot better than job than the primary Check. Pacer Ishant Sharma (2/22) and left-arm spinner Axar Patel (2/40) took two wickets apiece.

Ben Foakes batted with dedication to resists the India assault. He remained unbeaten at 42.
