A gangland determine with hyperlinks to race-hate murderers died after an assault in Glasgow on Tuesday.
Omar Sadiq is believed to have been stabbed through the broad daylight incident within the metropolis’s Pollok space.
The 32-year-old later died on the Queen Elizabeth College Hospital.
Sadiq was related to Imran “Baldy” Shahid, his brother Zeeshan Shahid and Faisal Mushtaq who have been all sentenced to life in November 2006 after being discovered responsible of killing 15-year-old Kris Donald in a racist homicide within the south facet of Glasgow in March 2004.
In 2009 Sadiq was sentenced to 5 years in jail in 2009 for his position in a gang feud which had hyperlinks to the Donald killers.
Police rushed to yesterday’s scene at Boydstone Highway in Pollok at round 1.25pm after locals reported listening to a disturbance.
A black Audi was seen deserted close by.
A Police Scotland spokesman stated: “We obtained a report of a person significantly injured on Boydstone Highway, Glasgow, round 1.25pm on Tuesday, 15 September.
“The 32-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth College Hospital the place he died a short while later. Enquiries are ongoing and anybody with details about the incident ought to contact us on 101 quoting incident quantity 1615 of 15 September”
Tributes have been paid to Sadiq on-line final evening.
Pal Hafes Khalique stated on Fb: “RIP Omar, we’ll be attending funeral.”
