A lorry driver, who builds nest bins from scratch in his spare time, has stated he hopes it can cease the decline in kestrels.

Nature-lover Graham Winters, from Ilkeston, Derbyshire, approached an area farmer who agreed to put in one among his bins on his land.

The field has been dwelling to 12 chicks since its set up three years in the past and he often visits to seize footage from a digital camera inside.

Kestrels are included on the RSPB’s amber checklist of birds of conservation concern on account of a average decline within the UK breeding inhabitants.
