Covid: Anglesey carer dropping sight after eye operation delays – #NewsEverything #Wales

A person who cares for his significantly ailing companion fears for her security as he loses his sight.

Terry Thomas, 72, from Menai Bridge on Anglesey, is already blind in a single eye and has a cataract within the different.

However the 20-minute surgical procedure to repair his working eye has been cancelled a number of occasions – and he has been informed the physician has left the hospital.

Mr Thomas is struggling to look after June Lavelle-Lepsa, who has degenerative motor neurone illness – and fears she might fall and find yourself in hospital.
