Jaipur: Contemporary instances of birds dying have been reported from elements of Rajasthan on Friday, taking the tally to 2,166.

The avian influenza subtype H5N8 has been detected in 11 districts of the state, together with the state capital.

As per the Animal Husbandry Division, the deaths of 329 birds, together with 223 crows, 11 peacocks and 55 pigeons have been reported within the state.

Animal Husbandry Division Director Virendra Singh stated that needed instructions have been given to the poultry farms house owners.

Up to now, avian influenza subtype H5N8 has been present in crows, whereas H5N1 has been present in poultry birds.

He stated that there isn’t any must panic and the virus has been discovered largely in crows, not poultry birds.
