Mariam Sankara, the widow of former Burkina Faso President Thomas Sankara, says “justice is required” and all of the households have to know the reality.
Sankara was assassinated in 1987, having taken energy in 1983.
He has been known as the “Che Guevara of Africa” for his socialist and revolutionary beliefs and insurance policies.
His widow says he knew he was at risk from those that disagreed with the course wherein he was taking Burkina Faso.
