Beth B’s “Lydia Lunch: The Struggle is By no means Over” Lands at Kino Lorber – NewsEverything Hollywood

Beth B’s tribute to a New York No Wave icon has secured North American distribution. Kino Lorber landed rights to “Lydia Lunch: The Struggle is By no means Over” with plans to launch the doc in the summertime, a press launch introduced. The movie will likely be accompanied by a career-spanning Beth B retrospective.

“Lunch has cast a lifetime of music and spoken phrase efficiency dedicated to the utter proper of any lady to indulge, search pleasure, and to say ‘fuck you!’ as loud as any man,” Beth B informed us forward of the movie’s world premiere on the 2019 version of DOC NYC. “On this time of countless assaults on girls, this can be a rallying cry to acknowledge the one factor that’s going to deliver us collectively: artwork, the common salve to all of our traumas.”

In an announcement, Beth B stated she’s “proud to be working with Kino Lorber to launch this movie.” Her different credit embrace docs “Name Her Applebroog” and “Breathe In, Breathe Out” and narrative options “Salvation!: Have You Mentioned Your Prayers As we speak?” and “Two Small Our bodies.”
